¿A Donde Voy?
I came to Mexico concerned about photographing in a new place, without a clearly defined concept, in a limited time span. The more I let go of these fears and embraced shooting reflexively, the more I fell into the rhythm of Mexico and navigated my place within. It was a challenge to break loose of the snapshots and to dig in to the meat of my own experience here. These photographs reflect my attention to the small, quiet moments that reflect the juxtaposition of old and new and the unclear ground on which I stood.
